Protect your energy intentionally

Inevitably, there will be moments when people impede your peace, and it's critically important that you protect your energy intentionally — whatever that looks like.

It likely looks different every time; there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach.

Sometimes protecting your energy simply means saying no.

Others times it looks like distancing yourself (and even estranging) from the person.

Sometimes we drain ourselves trying to fix people: correcting their behavior, their manners, or even the way they were raised.

But that responsibility isn’t yours.

When you take on other people’s problems as your own, you drain the energy you could be using to realize your own potential.

You owe it to yourself to lookout for you.
